My Lightroom Presets

I’ve searched for years to find an easy way to edit my mobile photos, fully capturing the specialness of the everyday moments without over-editing their reality.

I’m drawn to that raw, photojournalistic style of imagery that makes you feel as though you could reach out and touch the photo and suddenly be transported to that exact moment.

SO LITTLE TIME, SO MANY APPS

Bouncing around from apps like VSCO, A Color Story, and Instagram’s built-in filters (please do not), it was time to give Lightroom mobile a shot. While Lightroom’s desktop version, Lightroom Classic, is my go-to for all the photos I shoot on my full-frame camera, I didn’t consider it for mobile photos as LrC is more involved and I thought it would be too complex for my iPhone photo game. Turns out that was pure idiocy and this app is now the main suspect of my chronic phone battery drama.

NATURAL LIGHT, WARM TONES + A TOUCH OF GRAIN

Lightroom Presets are custom filters you apply with one click, transforming your images and creating a cohesive aesthetic throughout your photography. The Homebody Preset Collection includes four photo filters, three color and one black and white, that are designed to enhance natural light, emphasize the warm tones of home, and give a touch of vintage vibes with a little grainy goodness. These are the presets I use everyday to edit my photos, whether I’m posting them on instagram or printing and hanging them around my house. Easy, simple, and consistent!
